Let’s Talk Professional Development!
I am a firm believer that a successful training does not consist of “sit-and-get” but is interactive and engaging with resources that are ready for immediate classroom use.
I love designing resources that make sense as soon as you open them up, but I also love explaining my WHY behind each of these resources. I firmly believe hearing this WHY and ways to strategically use each resource in the classroom adds a layer to your instruction that will immediately elevate your teaching. My favorite thing is collaborating with teachers and providing them with solutions that enable them to adequately and confidently prepare their students for STAAR/EOC.

You and I have shared very, very few words, but I've quietly watched and eagerly listened to you. You've shared AMAZING content over the past few years, and my students and I have enjoyed every bit of it. Because of you, I've grown as an educator and have a plethora of new tools and resources. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air in the ELA department!

Leaps and bounds is an understatement for what you have done for our district, and especially, ELA. I am so grateful that I had the chance to know you, learn from you, and teach the curriculum created by you. It is always such a pleasure to get to see you and learn from you, so I do hope to see you at trainings in the future. Thank you so so much for everything.

You've given us so many impactful resources in your years with us! Thank you so much. Personally speaking, you've helped make my teaching more streamlined, and in turn, the kid's learning has been positively impacted. I know PDF's seem like a small thing -- but MAN the "Small stuff" really does leave a big impression. Using all the resources you've given us - the kids recognize what they're doing quicker, there is less explanation needed because assignments are familiar and straightforward. Beyond just resources, seeing your thought process has had a domino effect in how I've created lessons in my room. I think these kids are benefitting all around the district from your skills, and we've been so lucky to have you.

I was at your “How Not to Hate Writing” presentation that you gave at the TCTELA conference on Friday. Let me just say that it was one of the most enlightening, inspiring, and educational sessions of the entire conference. Thank you for the time and energy that you put into the session.

I loved your workshop and thought it was amazing. I have always taught the primary grades but now I am trying to help teachers with STAAR writing and I thought your ideas were amazing.

I love the PROVS! One of the hardest things for me is breaking down skills into manageable chunks for the students. This is going to be very helpful. You covered so much. I'm sure I'll have questions as I start to implement these things, but as of right now, my questions about how to prep my students for STAAR have been answered! It was a lot! But, I understand why it needed to be a lot. I am glad you included everything you did.
Thank you again. This really was exactly what I was hoping for. You have provided practical resources and instruction that can be implemented in an explicit and systematic way. I am excited to see the growth in my current students and I can't wait to start this with new students in the fall.
