Welcome to In Between the Lattes, where my mission is to make teachers’ jobs easier and more rewarding by providing engaging solutions for classroom needs. After teaching at both the elementary and secondary levels, I moved into my district’s curriculum department and worked as the ELA facilitator. I managed curriculum, lead professional development, and coached and assisted ELA teachers on 21 elementary campuses, 5 junior highs, and 2 high schools. It was in this position that I learned what it meant to provide teachers with what they actually need in the day-to-day classroom, so I decided to start In Between the Lattes and do this on a greater scale across the state of Texas in time for all the changes to STAAR.
